We've been writing our story all year - now it's illustrated and brought to life! 🎨
The Putnam City Arts Festival welcomed families from across the District to the Centennial Center for a full day of hands-on art and music, live performances, and gallery displays. Each school was represented at the first large District-wide event in the new space, and we're grateful to everyone who could join the celebration.

What does it look like to follow the evidence wherever it leads?
Inside Mr. Stark's biotechnology class at PC High, students investigate a mock crime scene, working through fingerprint analysis, DNA testing, and detailed evidence logs. Teachers are cast as witnesses, with students conducting interviews as they work to solve the case.

Putnam City West students didn’t let a nontraditional week slow them down. During this year’s Cancer Fund Drive (CFD Week), they raised a school record-breaking $𝟑𝟏,𝟓𝟒𝟎 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡, even with a shift to virtual learning along the way. Students and staff rallied around Ms. Hines, a faculty member on her own cancer journey, reminding her that no Torchbearer walks alone.

Our Putnam City community showed up strong at the 𝙊𝙠𝙡𝙖𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙖 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙣, running to remember the 168 lives lost in the Oklahoma City bombing. Check out Central Elementary Run Club's sea of blue shirts!

Children from PC Smart Start Daycare took a trip over to the Centennial Center gardens to release the butterflies they’ve been raising! It was just a short walk next door, but their excited faces prove that this is a memory that will stick.
